Wedding and Honeymoon Favorites
Even though I have a wedding album and a handmade honeymoon album, I still wanted something I can frame and put on my wall. When I saw this sketch I thought this would make a perfect 12 x 24 framed layout. Often what we do as scrapbookers is not on display in the traditional sense so I seized this opportunity to display a few of my favorite shots from our wedding and our honeymoon.
I knew I wanted to include those fun arrows on the top left and bottom right of the sketch. Here is a close up of the bottom right that shows my subtle take on that feature. Using some black pigment ink with a stencil, I created a very light pattern of arrows in a similar fashion. I love how it complements the blue in the paper even though I used black ink.
Favorite Candid Shot
I love this photo because it is a candid shot. It really captures the feelings of that day. I can’t wait to frame the layout and enjoy seeing it each day.
