Kentucky Derby
The Kentucky Derby was definitely one of our “Bucket List” trips.
It was a lot of fun–quite the experience. I didn’t know where to look. There were just so many people, so many fun and interesting hats, and the horses were amazingly beautiful.
So glad I was finally able to get this layout done using the Let’s Scrap Sketches 1-15-18 sketch.

New Flip and Fold Scrapbook Mini
Not exactly a brand new flip and fold scrapbook mini from a design standpoint, but new in the sense that I made another one with a completely different color scheme/paper line. Many of the inserts and pages are decorated differently as well. I used different edge punches to give this one a new look.
This is the same mini album that was featured in Scor-Pal’s July 2017 Newsletter.

Oftentimes, when we purchase the 100+ packs because it is such a great deal, we end up with 90 pieces leftover that we never use. In retrospect that 100 piece pack at $4.99 that we justified was such a great deal because it was a nickel a piece for each adorable die cut, title card, journal card, and so on really ends up costing 10 times that. It is better to just buy the specific pieces we need and avoid the waste. Continue reading “3 Craft Items You Should Not Buy”
Purse Mini Album Made Easy
Handmade Photo Album – Tutorial
Featured in Scor-Pal’s July Newsletter!
This is a fun and simple handmade photo album that has lots of pockets and folds. A while back someone gifted one like it to me because they knew I liked paper crafting and I loved it so much, I decided to make this one. It was fun examining it to figure out the measurements and how the folds and pockets came together. I also enjoyed putting my own spin on it as we often do as paper crafters.
Here are the inside pages followed by an easy tutorial. Continue reading “Handmade Photo Album – Tutorial”
